10th Birthday & Overlay Crochet

Northern IL CGOA Celebrates 10th Birthday

The Northern Illinois chapter of CGOA celebrated its 10th birthday on Saturday, June 5, 2004 with a potluck lunch and special program.

Overlay Crochet

Melody McDuffee taught Overlay Crochet. There was no charge to chapter members for this all-day program.

Chapter members who did not wish to take the workshop were welcome to come for the day & bring something to crochet.

Advanced Overlay Crochet

An advanced class on Overlay Crochet was offered on Sunday, June 6 at Janet Ohle's class in Wadsworth.

This class covered strategies, materials and applications (mainly jewelry) for working the technique in miniature. Melody had two necklaces in the 2003 CGOA Juried Exhibit.
