Crochet Artist Bonnie Meltzer to Teach

Bonnie Meltzer, a crochet artist from Portland Oregon, will teach a workshop for the Northern Illinois chapter of CGOA on wire crochet techniques on Tuesday April 10th. Workshop participants will learn how to make a little crocheted purse out of wire. The techniques taught can be used for jewelry, accessories, and flat or 3-D works of art. Participants must bring their own supplies: crochet hooks (sizes G through P), scissors, needle nose pliers, tapestry needle, assorted yarns, fabric strips, assorted wires - magnet wire, art wire (gauges between 24 and 36), colored phone wire, old electrical cords.
