2008 Meetings

This page contains information about the programs presented at the 2008 meetings of the Northern Illinois Chapter of the Crochet Guild of America. Our meetings were held at the Rolling Meadows Public Library.

SPECIAL EVENT
An extra-curricular activity, in addition to our normal monthly meeting. May be at a different location than the library.
LIBRARY DISPLAY
Drop by the area library to see crocheted items that our Guild members have loaned for display. Items are on display for the entire month.

What to Bring to Meetings

Northern Illinois Chapter meetings usually consist of: a business meeting, Show-And-Tell, and a program.

For the business meeting, bring paper and pen to write notes about upcoming activities and a calendar. Most members crochet during the business meeting, so do bring your crochet.

For Show-And-Tell, bring a completed crochet project or a Work-In-Progress.

For the program, bring a Basic Crochet Kit with supplies that you usually need when working on a project (scissors, variety of crochet hooks in different sizes, stitch markers, pencil, paper, tape measure, safety pins, large-eyed blunt-nosed tapestry needle), and whatever yarn and/or thread and other materials you will need for the month's program.
