I Can Crochet Day

Saturday, July 26, 2003 was I Can Crochet Day at CGOA's Chain Link 2003 Crochet Conference being held at the Radisson Hotel O'Hare in Rosemont, Illinois.

Area Girl Scouts attended the free sessions to earn credit toward their fabric and textile merit badge as well as an "I Can Crochet" activity patch for attending.

The Northern Illinois Chapter of CGOA in conjunction with DRG organized this opportunity to teach area Girl Scouts how to crochet. In addition to the activity patch, hooks, yarn and a book was provided for free to the Girl Scouts, thanks to the generous donations of several companies.
