Our Photo Gallery

The Northern Illinois Chapter of the Crochet Guild of America is an active group. In addition to our monthly meetings, we demonstrate crochet at community events and make crochet items for charity.

Our annual Chapter Challenge encourages our members to showcase their creativity through crochet. Our chapter hosted the national CGOA Conference in 1994, 1997, and 2003, and is looking forward to the 2011 conference in Minneapolis.

The NIC-CGOA chapter celebrated National Crochet Month by crocheting in public while riding the "El" on Saturday, March 19th. The group rode and crocheted on the Blue, Brown, Red and Green lines, with stops for lunch and shopping at Loopy Yarns in Chicago and Knot Just Knits in Oak Park.
